To dream of doing housework suggests that something is being restored to its former glory in your waking hours.

Perhaps a situation has returned to the way it used to be.

Maybe someone has gone back to being the person they were before a sudden change of character.

Has your perspective reversed to how you saw things before this change occurred?

Whatever it is, you have put your world right again.

Perhaps you have put this restoration off for a while now and you are thankful that things have settled again.

You are back to a place where you are comfortable and it feels good.

It’s possible you took a break from the norm or you were distracted which meant that you were unable to do what you normally would.

The dream could be a reminder to you to focus on the after if you do lose momentum.

However bad something looks, once you have put in the effort to reset it, it is always worth your time. If you are feeling unmotivated right now, this might be a good mantra to live by.

Do you need to clean or tidy something up? Perhaps there is something in your life right now that isn’t quite right and needs some attention.

It may not require much; just a quick spruce up to get it looking good again.

If you were doing housework but things were stuffed in cupboards and drawers out of sight, it’s possible that you are preoccupied with how something looks rather than what’s going on behind the scenes. It may be time to face what is happening beneath the facade.

The simplest interpretation of this dream is that you need to do some housework in your own space- just not today!
