Please tell us about your brand of comedy- what can audiences expect?
It's so difficult describing your brand of comedy, hopefully enough people saw me last year and have told their mates. For those people I'm the same as last year, with a new story to tell.
Which comedians have been your biggest influence over the years?
No one really influences me but I really appreciate Nathan Cassidy's inventive ideas year after year, Trevor Lock's charisma and control on stage and Rosin Conaty just makes me a laugh a lot. Louis CK just says what people are thinking and doesn't sell his soul out, I like that.
What random things make you laugh in everyday life?
People falling over and laughing about this ridiculous f*cking industry.
Please tell us about your best and worst moment on stage so far.
Best moment - performing at the Sydney Opera House in Australia as part of the Sydney comedy festival and worst was my second ever gig doing a set to a room full of people that didn't speak English, I can't believe there was ever a third gig.
Do you still get nervous when you do a gig?
Excited nerves yes. I think it's worrying when a comic feels nothing before they go on stage. You should get butterflies and feel pumped to be doing it.
Why is Edinburgh Fringe Festival such a great platform for comedians?
It's great way to become a better performer because you're doing a lot of stage time every day to a lot of comedy savvy people who will tell you if you're not quite as good as the pr*ck next door.
Who are you looking forward to seeing as an audience member?
Bill Burr will be cool, love his stuff but never seen him live so I'm looking forward to that.
What is your advice to aspiring comedians?
Don't do it, it's a trap. And don't do your second gig to a room of people that don't speak your language.
What is the oddest heckle you've ever received?
I was holding up a pic of me as a child holding an owl once and someone shouted out 'Harry Potter' - I mean I get it, it's just odd. People have no filter, that's why everyone loves Trump.
What is next for you?
World domination, unless another series of 'Love Island' comes on.
Sarah Callaghan's show 24 will be playing at Pleasance Dome from Friday 5th August till Sunday 28th August, every day at 20:20
