Please tell us about your brand of comedy- what can audiences expect?
Intelligent, observational stand-up comedy.
Which comedians have been your biggest influence over the years?
Stewart Lee's books are hugely influential, but more directly it's the comedians you meet on the circuit.
What random things make you laugh in everyday life?
The copyright-infringing murals on the sides of fairground rides.
Please tell us about your best and worst moment on stage so far.
Best: performing with Adam Buxton as MC. Worst: literally any gig in Hull.
Do you still get nervous when you do a gig?
I have the leathery nerves of an old sailor by now, but yes, sometimes.
Why is Edinburgh Fringe Festival such a great platform for comedians?
It's the world's largest arts festival! The history couldn't be more gilded, the reputation is impeccable.
Who are you looking forward to seeing as an audience member?
Some close friends of my ex-girlfriends, ideally. AND WHY NOT SIT IN THE FRONT ROW AND NEVER LAUGH. THAT WOULD BE SO HELPFUL.
What is your advice to aspiring comedians?
Prepare to suffer.
What is the oddest heckle you've ever received?
"Go back to Africa"
What is next for you?
Ideally, more work
