Please tell us about your brand of comedy- what can audiences expect?
I go for funny. With a touch of politics. But still going funny first.
Which comedians have been your biggest influence since you decided this was your path?
Jon Stewart has long been shining light, and Samantha Bee and John Oliver.
What random things make you laugh in everyday life?
My wife.
Please tell us about your best and worst moment on stage so far.
Worst moment was the Hyena in Newcastle getting slow clapped off by 250 people. It was kinda the best as well, because I remember that gig more than any other.
Do you still get nervous when you do a gig?
It depends on the gig. There are times where I can be miles away and step on stage and it's all there. Not all the time though.
Why is Edinburgh Fringe Festival such a great platform for comedians? It's a melting pot, a comedy convention and an endurance contest.
Who are you looking forward to seeing as an audience member?
I haven't even had a chance to look yet.
What is your advice to aspiring comedians?
Gig. Loads. And edit. Loads.
What is the oddest heckle you've ever received?
Early days a woman heckled the way I said 'Tube' as in the underground. I was hitting the hard 'T' and she corrected me with the more 'TCH' sound. I didn't get what she was doing so we went back and forth saying 'Tube' 'Tchube' for about three minutes.
What is next for you?
I thought that said what is next to me. I was going to say the printer. Which is a good hint that I need to keep writing.
