Tamara Ecclestone's wedding ceremony was an extremely "emotional" occasion which left guests in tears.
The 28-year-old socialite officially married broker Jay Rutland on Monday (01.07.13) at the Chelsea Register Office at Chelsea Old Town Hall in London, following their lavish, wedding blessing which took place on the French Riviera in June.
Tamara insists the blessing - which was part of a three-day celebration, cost a reputed $5.3 million and was held at the Grand Hotel Du Cap-Ferrat in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat - reduced her, Jay and most the guests, who included Paris Hilton, Jason Statham and his girlfriend Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, to tears.
She said: "We were both really emotional. We both cried during the ceremony I think everyone shed a tear. It was a three day celebration. I think everyone saw the pictures that were pap shots which was like a beach party and that was fun, but the first two days were really romantic and traditional. It was nice to do it over three days and to have really different things."
The pair are loving married life together, and Tamara - who was devastated after ex-fiancé, Omar Khyami, was caught cheating on her last year - finally feels she's got her "happily ever after" with Jay.
She told heat magazine: "I love the happy ever after, I finally feel like I've got it. It's been really amazing. I'm really happy, it's the happiest I've ever been. I'm enjoying married life, the honeymoon period and extended honeymoon."
Tamara - whose father is billionaire Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone - is getting ready to jet off again; this time flying to the Bahamas before hitting New York City.
She added: "It's convenient that it's over the summer, as you can take some extended holidays. I'm going away on Saturday to the Bahamas.
"Then I'm off to New York, to shoot the new campaign for my haircare range, but I will still definitely enjoy this trip."
