I don’t want to be locked up
I want to explore
Explore the streets, observe the architectural designs
Create my words beyond anyone’s imagination
Write poems that are out of space
Bring joy and humbleness to ones face
Read my words with such tranquility and grace
I want to paint with letters, words, poetic devices,
To create a masterpiece that would be recorded in history.
Some say I dream the evitable but who are they to determine possible
And impossible
Being famous is eating air one minute its there the other gone
But I dream to be remembered, a memory no man or goblet can erase
I wish to be an inspiration, feather of wings on a hopeless sparrow.
I wish to illuminate character and grace
Paddle up the strength to see my evitable
Which I know really is an inevitable dream as I am destined.
While every kid on the block dreamt of fairy tales and dolls
I was dreaming of greatness.
I was dreaming of being a talented artist
But not just any
But being one that reflects God’s beauty and perfection.
