Winter is my favorite season. Particularly around Christmas. It hits all my sensory needs. I love the comfort of the lights and decorations combined with the smell of Christmas trees, burning fires and cinnamon… Top it off with the taste of pecan pie and peppermint hot chocolate, and the sounds of Christmas songs in the background and it is a recipe to fill my ‘feel good’ tank.

I don’t want to live life with regret. So, I often jump headfirst into things. I’d rather regret something I did, vs something I didn’t.

I create little pockets of ‘feel good’ moments as often as I can. One of the ways I do this is by dancing to house music in my car.  It makes me smile and lifts my spirits.

My husband encourages me to take time to myself as he sees the positive impact it has on my mental health. Every 4-6 months, I stay in a hotel for the weekend, where I relax, unwind, reflect, read by the pool, meditate, and pamper myself.

I’m very silly and I often get caught doing random things, like the floss dance. My husband has a compilation of silly video clips, ready to use as leverage at any time.

I snort like a pig when I laugh hard

I love to get physical with kickboxing. I find it to be a great physical and emotional outlet.
