The president of Iceland wants to see pineapple banned from pizzas.
President Guðni Th. Jóhannesson answered random questions from students in a Q&A video, and when asked about his thoughts on having the fruit on the Italian treat, he claimed he was ''fundamentally opposed'' to the tangy topping, which is usually used on a Hawaiian pizza with ham.
According to the Metro newspaper, he then elaborated on his point and said he would pass a ban on pineapple as a pizza topping if he had the power to pass laws on his own, according to Iceland magazine.
