Two unlikely friends are Elton John and Wayne Rooney – but it seems the two of them have quite a lot to bond over! We knew they had been in touch since about 2003 but now it seems they have a lot more to talk about. Firstly they have both had hair transplants – Elton obviously opted for a fuller head of hair than Wayne, but Wayne who used to be practically bald, now does have tufts of hair on top of his head. Apparently the hair operations are the one thing they talked about to eachother when Wayne went to see Elton’s show in Las Vegas. Elton had invited Wayne to meet him afterwards and Wayne took him up on the offer. We also hear that Elton was interested in telling Wayne that he thinks his son Zachery will be a football star like Wayne – Zachery is only one, so we’re not sure how he can tell this yet, but still. A source said: “They’ve got football and singing in common because Wayne loves karaoke. And jokes about Wayne’s hair transplant were flying, as Elton’s transplant is one of the most famous.” Coleen was with Wayne at the concert and we wonder if she mentioned to Elton that she has recently copied his wallpaper. She saw it and liked it, and then forked out the £25,000 which it cost. Yes, £25,000 on wall paper! For their son Kai to rub his dirty fingers all over! Elton had been ding shows in Vegas at Ceasars palace, and Wayne went to the last one before Elton got a chest infection and had to cancel the remaining shows. We’re not saying Wayne gave it to him or anything. Luckily Elton was better for earlier on this week when he played at the Queen’s diamond jubilee concert in London, wearing a very bright pink jacket and pink glasses – as understated as ever!
