The Spice Girls reunited yesterday in London as they announced the new stage musical Viva Forever – a show about the tale of their girl band. All 5 original members of The Spice Girls attended – Mel B even came over from Australia and Victoria Beckham came from LA. We saw Victoria leaving the hotel after the launch and she still was wearing her famous pout and big shades. She signed some autographs for fans but kept very quiet. One place which she did reveal her excitement on was twitter. She wrote: "Good morning London!! Song of the Day (is) Reunited (by) Peaches and Herb... went for the black dress... Sunny day in London, so nice being home!!!" After the event she also tweeted a couple of messages thanking the other girls for an amazing day. She also thanked the fans for turning up too. The other girls also got on twitter. Mel had written in the morning: "Whoop whoop where my spice biatches at!!!... Lovin ALL spice fans always!" Geri had posted something a bit more meaningful with: "Look back, realise how far you've come," and Mel C simply wrote, "BIG DAY!!!" The musical starts in London in December and features 18 of The Spice Girls songs – although the Spice Girls themselves are not in it. Jennifer Saunders wrote the script and she also attended yesterday. It is 10 years since the band split and so it seems a nice way to mark the anniversary. The other girls must have been a little envious of Victoria though – she arguably has the most successful current career with her design work – and she seems to have the more stable home life – all of which is a little ironic as it was Victoria who people used to laugh at really for being the one who couldn’t sing, and didn’t really do a lot in the band. How time has changed them!
