You wouldn’t think that an A list Hollywood star would need to do a job on the side to earn some extra cash, so we think Shia LaBeouf really is doing extra work just for the love of it. He has started writing and drawing his own comics – so it’s not even like it is anything to do with acting. This is a passion of Shia’s that has come out of the blue – and we guess he must have been over the moon to get cast in Transformers when he did. Shia is even so proud of his work that he’s been showing it off and even sell it. At the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo, Shia turned up, but not just to get involved, to actually showcase his work. A source said: “He was selling his own books and was more than happy to sign stuff for anyone who asked.” Shia looked very happy to be letting everyone see the comics that he had created. He talked about it and said: “I did it for fun, it’s free and without edit. I do love acting but this is a fun escape.” Well, we’ve definitely learnt something new about Shia LeBeouf – who knew he could draw! And maybe he did it to take his mind of the fact that one of his exes was getting married. Carey Mulligan has married Marcus Mumford – the lead singer of Mumford and Sons. Shia and Carey were together for about a year, and split up towards the end of 2010. When they split Shia said: “I still love her. I think she's an awesome person and an incredible actress. We're still pals. I wouldn't take any of it back, and I don't think she would either. It just ran its course." Well that is a nice friendly end to a relationship!
