So Sharon Osbourne has finally revealed why she has left America’s Got Talent. It really was nothing to do with money, but in true Osbourne style it was over sticking by her family. Sharon sent a tweet to fellow judge Howard Stern a couple of weeks ago after he had started rumours of her leaving over a lack of a pay rise. Sharon said: "My darling Howard Stern, money is not the reason I'm not returning to (America's Got Talent), it's because..." And then she never elaborated... until now. She has told a newspaper in America that she was very angry at NBC – the network which broadcasts America’s Got Talent – as they axed her son Jack from a TV show after he revealed his illness. Jack Osbourne went public with his health problems earlier on this year and told everyone that he had multiple sclerosis – the incurable auto-immune disease. After Jack was dumped from the TV show, Sharon has said: "I just can't be fake. It's discrimination, and it was badly handled." Jack was apparently meant to be taking part in Stars Earn Stripes – a show which puts celebrities up against each other in various military exercises. A producer at a press conference in Los Angeles last month said that Jack Osbourne had never been officially hired for the show, however both Sharon and Jack claim that things were done on a verbal agreement. And Sharon, standing by her son, has quit her role as a judge on America’s Got Talent which she has done since 2007. A representative for NBC has reacted to the news and said: "Sharon has been a valuable part of the NBC family. We regret any misunderstanding and wish Jack well."
