Though it’s not been officially confirmed quite yet, Sharon Osbourne is on the cusp of revealing that she’s signed up to star in the X Factor UK again, replacing Tulisa. The reality star has agreed to a £1.5million deal (with an extra £300k thrown in for flights back and forth to the LA, plus wardrobe requirements) to appear on the show’s judging panel again as the producers of the programme desperately try to claw back viewers. A source told the tabloids today: ‘Tulisa appealed to the younger X Factor fans but they could do with winning back some of the mature viewers – and Sharon fits that demographic perfectly.’ Osbourne famously left X Factor back in 2007 due to an ongoing feud with then fellow judge Dannii Minogue. Its thought that Sharon will sit on the panel alongside Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow and then possibly Mel B who’s being lined up to replace Nicole Scherzinger.
