We’re all still waiting for details as to what exactly Girls Aloud are going to do later on this year to mark their 10th anniversary. It has been hyped up so much for the past year, yet the girls have not told anyone what their plans are – there were rumours of a string of concerts or maybe just a one-off gig – we suppose we’ll have to wait and see – maybe the girls themselves don’t even know yet. One thing we have had confirmed this week though is that Sarah Harding will definitely release solo material in 2013. She follows in the footsteps of the successful Cheryl and the not so successful Nadine and Nicola with their solo attempts. Sarah said: "There's quite a lot going on this year, but it's in the pipeline right now, so I can't really say much about that! Next year I am preparing for solo material, so watch this space." Sarah had recorded 3 tracks for the film St Trinians 2 and has worked with Roger Sanchez, but no song has officially been released to chart. Sarah has probably had the most personal issues out of all the girls since they have been on their break. She split from her DJ fiancé Tom Crane in 2011, then she went to rehab to be treated for alcohol abuse. He met a man I rehab and had a brief relationship with him until it all ended with a nasty fight at the start of the year – in which they had both been drinking again and both got injured. Sarah has now been on the straight and narrow and getting better, and now wants to concentrate on her career again. A source said: "Sarah's been jotting down lyrics and writing songs for the past few months. After the year from hell in 2011, she is now desperate just to get back to her first love - music. There is some very raw, heartfelt stuff - not the kind of thing people will be expecting. Sarah's had some pretty wild experiences and wants the album to reflect this."
