Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have welcomed their second child together. The 'Training Day' star reportedly gave birth to a baby girl, which they have named Amada Lee Gosling, late last month. A birth certificate obtained by TMZ shows the little one - who is a younger sister to the couple's other daughter, Esmeralda, 19 months - was born just after eight in the morning on April 29 at Providence St. John's Health Centre in Santa Monica, California. The news of the birth will come as a shock to fans as it was only two weeks earlier that rumours started to circulate that the happy couple - who have been together since 2011 - were due to welcome a new addition to their brood. Meanwhile, the 42-year-old actress previously praised daughter Esmeralda for being her "moral compass". She said: "I love being an example to somebody. If I'm even like, 'Oh, what should I wear? Or, should I do this project?' All I have to think about is my daughter and her face and I know the answer immediately. I guess she's my moral compass in a way. It's just beautiful to be an example for her. "[She's with] papa and the family [at the moment]. Thank god I have my entire family 10 minutes away ... I mean, that's a given these days! I don't think that's a plus anymore. It better not be fathers out there." And Ryan, 35, also recently gushed about his partner and their little girl, insisting he knows everything is how it is meant to be. He shared: "I know that I'm with the person I'm supposed to be with." When asked about the qualities he looks for in a woman, he added: "That she's Eva Mendes. There's nothing else I'm looking for."
