Rod Stewart thinks Ronnie Wood should have a vasectomy. The 71-year-old rocker - who has eight children with five women, including sons Alistair, 10, and Aiden, five, with current spouse Penny Lancaster - insists he won't be going under the knife to ensure he can't have any more kids, but suggested his former Faces bandmate, 68, ought to have the procedure as he is about to become a father to twins when wife Sally gives birth in the coming months. Speaking on 'Alan Carr Chatty Man', he said: "I have not had the snip. Have I b****cks! Ask Ronnie Wood, he should have the snip. I don't know what comes out when you have the snip. I think it is just dust." Elsewhere on the show, the 'Maggie May' hitmaker admitted the death of David Bowie - who lost a secret battle with cancer in January aged 69 - made him contemplate his own mortality. He said: "I did not know him terribly well. I never used to phone him up but it brought it all home to us that we are mortal and that it is going to happen to us all. "It was a big old loss, a big loss."
