The film On The Road was premiered at the Cannes Film Festival – it’s the latest Kristen Stewart film and of course she was there for the event. She didn’t look happy about being there, but then again, she never does smile, so who knows what she really is thinking. Even when signing autographs for fans, she made it look like a massive effort to raise even a tiny smile – and with the millions she gets paid, you would think she’d be smiling all day! Joining Kristen Stewart in the cast is another A list female, Kirsten Dunst. How confusing to have a Kristen and a Kirsten in the same film! Kirsten Dunst looked happier than Kristen Stewart and had even dressed up a lot more for the occasion in a long White Dress, and a hair style which slightly looked like Princess Laya from Star Wars. Kristen Stewart just wore a jacket and trousers – although her trousers did have a strange yellow pattern on them! Also in the film is Viggo Mortensen. He was happy to sign autographs for fans. The 2 main male parts in the film were played by Sam Riley and Garrett Hedlund – they played 2 writers who journey across America. Kristen Stewart plays one of their wives, and the 3 of them end up in whirlwind of sex, drugs and writing. The film is based on book, and fans of the book really weren’t happy about it being mad into a film. They thought it would spoil the story. The reviews are already out from the people who have seen it at the premiere at the Cannes Film Festival and most say that the film does stay true to the story of the book, but that the film lacks the spark throughout that the book has.
