We feel a bit sorry for Nicole Scherzinger. She couldn’t possibly drop any more hints about wanting to get married, but still Lewis Hamilton just doesn’t seem to be asking the question. It’s all a bit of an awkward situation really as this is apparently the reason why they ended their relationship last year, before getting back together. Last year they split up – and not for the first time – and said that it was definitely over, but it, well, it wasn’t, as they then got back together again. The reason they gave for their split was work commitments but the reported reasons are a bit different – sources said that it was because Nicole wanted to settle down and Lewis didn’t. This doesn’t come as much of a surprise, given their age difference – Nicole is 33 and Lewis is 27. They have spent the weekend together in Malaysia as Lewis was competing in the Grand Prix there. And whilst his mind has been on driving, hers has been on their future. Nicole said: "I would like to get married one day but it's not just up to me.” She was also asked about children and said: "It would be nice." Lewis – this is basically female language for hurry up and propose. I want to get married and have your babies and if you don’t do something about it soon then we’ll be splitting up again. Nicole could also win a prize for best girlfriend at the moment too. She is accompanying Lewis on all his Grand Prix trips – Malaysia at the weekend – Australia the weekend before that – but then again, a trip round the world probably isn’t the most annoying thing to have to do for your boyfriend is it!
