Naomi Watts has a "strong" friendship with Nicole Kidman. The 47-year-old British actress admitted that she and her red-headed Australian pal have shared a long standing intercontinental "history" - despite their busy schedules prohibiting frequent meet ups - because when they do catch up they discuss everything in one full blast. Speaking to Net-A-Porter's The Edit, the blonde beauty said: "We're busy people that live in different places. The thing about Nic and I is that we have so many years of history now, that even after big gaps, we just take up where we left off. We know we have limited time together, so we go strong; we cover big topics in a really limited amount of time. It's just like, boom, we're back." Meanwhile, 'The Impossible' star - who has sons Sasha, eight, and Sammy, seven, with partner Liev Schreiber - manages balancing her life between New York and Los Angeles because she relocated a lot as a child, having grown up in the UK, Australia and America. She said: "It's all constant negotiation and seeing how things go. "There was lots of adventure [growing up]. Lots of spontaneity and travel and packing up and going places. At the time, you didn't really question it, because it's what you know, and you just follow the lead of your parents ... It always felt like we were on the road."
