Here is Matt Smith who plays Dr Who. He also seems to dress a bit like Dr who is real life too, with the trademark long coat! Matt knows the quickest way to sign the autographs... And we can confirm that he did give it back at the end, but only after nearly forgetting! It was reported last week that the director of the Harry Potter films was going to make a Dr Who film. Matt smith has denied knowing anything about this. He said: "I have absolutely no idea what it will be about. We're not really anything to do with it." He then confessed, that just like the fans, he had read the news in the papers too. He did go on to suggest that even if he was asked to do the film, he would not really want to do it. There have been rumours around that Johnny Depp would play Dr Who in the film version. Now that would be strange. Some good news is that it was confirmed yesterday that Matt will return for a 7th series of Dr Who next year. He has also said he'll be back for a Christmas special for 2012 and the huge 50th anniversary Dr Who special. The much-anticipated special, which will air in 2013, will mark a half-century since the show first premiered back in 1963. Not many details are known about the special yet, but if rumours are to be believed, we will see returns from previous Dr Who cast members, including previous Doctors David Tennant, Paul McGann, and others. We can't wait! In fact, put us in a tardis so we can see it now!
