Mariah Carey vowed to "be a diva" on the opening night of her Las Vegas residency. The star took to the stage at Caesars Palace Las Vegas Hotel and Casino on Wednesday to kick off the first night of her string of concert dates in the city. And according to People magazine she poked fun at her reputation by joking to the crowd that she was "doing my best to be a diva this evening." The 'We Belong Together' hitmaker's show features all 18 of her Number 1 hit singles, which are performed in chronological order, and concludes with a rendition of her new song 'Infinity'. When the audience shouted about how much they love the star, she replied saying: "I love you more, don't even try it."
