Mariah Carey has settled a lawsuit with her former nanny. The #Beautiful' hitmaker has reached a settlement with Simonette DaCosta, who filed documents in January in which she claimed she was unfairly fired because she showed too much affection to the singer and estranged husband Nick Cannon's four-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe. The amount of the settlement has not been disclosed by Manhattan Federal Court, who have now closed the case. In her original documents, DaCosta, who was hired as a full-time nanny when the children were infants, claimed Mariah became jealous when she developed a very close relationship with the twins. She also alleges that she was overworked and sometimes forced to look after the twins for more than 100 hours a week as the 45-year-old singer and the 'America's Got Talent' host insisted she rotated between working shifts of seven 12-hour days and five 24-hour days.
