Lady Gaga never misses out on a chance to get some publicity from other peoples good news, and this time she has used the birth of Baby Blue Ivy. Gaga has sent a present for the baby to Beyonce and jay Z. Now you’d think maybe a teddy, a blanket, a cute outfit... no... Well, outfit is correct, but we’re not so sure about cute. Gaga has sent a baby grow – a onesie type thing, but with the words “Little Monster” written in pink diamantes on it. Little Monsters is the nickname that Gaga gives her fans and so she is presuming that baby Blue is a fan of hers at just a week old. A source said: "Gaga and Beyonce have remained close since they worked together on Telephone. While they don't speak often, they are always in touch via email and text. She knew Beyonce would find the present hilarious." We hear that gaga also included a note with the garment which said: “this is to wear to your first Lady Gaga concert.” One person who we don’t think Gaga will be sending any presents to is Madonna. Madonna has praised Lady Gaga this week, but also has broken her silence on Gaga’s song Born This Way – which everyone has always said has similarities to Madonna’s hit Express Yourself. About Gaga, Madonna said: “She’s a very talented artist. I certainly think she references me a lot in her work. And sometimes I think it’s amusing and flattering and well done. There’s a lot of ways to look at it. I can’t really be annoyed by it... because, obviously, I’ve influenced her.” And about Born This Way, Madge said: “When I heard it on the radio …I said that sounds very familiar. It felt reductive.” Now we’ve had to look up the word reductive, which apparently means minimal or crude, so she’s really confused us on that one.
