You know you’ve made it when you get a cameo role in the Simpsons and we cannot wait to see what Springfield will make of Lady Gaga. The rumours are that in her episode that will be shown in America at the end of May, Lady gaga has 18 different costume changes. The story is also a good one – it sees Gaga stopping by Springfield to try boost the spirits of Lisa, who has become a complete social outcast after a plan to put positive things about herself on the school blog goes wrong. Gaga will attempt to convince Lisa that being unique is better than conforming to societies norms. Gaga has been very excited about her role, alongside Homer, Madge, Bart and the others, and said: "Their characters are so awesomely convincing and sincere and wild and funny, that I had to remind myself constantly of the sincerity of the humor. That's what I was trying to focus on, not putting on a character too much and really being as sincere as I could with the lines." The episode title is Lisa goes Gaga. We’re guessing at one point, she show’s makers will have Gaga in her tea cup outfit. The outfit has hit the headlines again this week, as the teacup from it has been sold at an auction in Japan for £46,000 – yes, for a teacup – all because Gaga used it. Gaga used the cup and saucer to accessorise her outfit while appearing at a Tokyo press conference three months after the tsunami in the country in March 2011. Lady gaga gave her permission at the time for the cup to be auctioned and even wrote a message on it which said: "We pray for Japan". The money will go to helping young Japanese artists who want to study in the US. So who knows, another Gaga could be born from it!
