Kim Kardashian West has started her "journey of a lifetime" in the birthplace of her ancestors, Armenia. The star was greeted by a huge crowd of people at Zvartnots International Airport, which included women wearing traditional Armenian dress offering bread and salt. On her arrival in the country, Kim tweeted: "Armenia we are here! We're so grateful to be here & start this journey of a lifetime! Thank u everyone who greeted us (sic)" Later, she added: "I can't wait to explore our country and have some yummy food!" Kim also wrote on her Instagram account: "My husband and daughter came to Armenia as well to see my heritage and learn about my ancestors! My cousins came along too! So excited I can't sleep."
