We know we shouldn’t be excited about the bad things in Kim Kardashian’s life, but sometimes we just can’t help it. We love the fact that the trial for her divorce is likely to be televised, and not because she wants the cameras there, far from it, just because it could be allowed due to California law's "open policy" on popular cases. We’d love to sit down with popcorn in front of the screen to watch that! How different the story was at the wedding in the first place. Kim, for her wedding to Kris Humphries got paid millions of dollars to have the whole thing filmed for her reality TV show. She had lots of cameramen there on the day, and surrounding the couple as they said their vows, but, we think the last thing Kim would want is cameras in the courtroom for the divorce. And if Kim doesn’t want the world to see and hear the trial then the only option she has really is to settle out of court with Kris. We hear that Kris Humphries is still pushing for an annulment, instead of a divorce but this would probably lead to more unwanted exposure for Kim. A celebrity divorce lawyer explained things and said: "An annulment is based on fraud... it requires corroboration, witnesses to back it up. The average person with a 60-day marriage would be talking with their lawyer about an annulment. But there is a lot of exposure involved in it and I just don't think they want that". Humphries would need to prove "deception regarding a significant matter that led to the marriage" in order to gain an annulment and many commentators accused the Kardashians of staging the marriage to boost ratings on their TV show. We also hear that one source claims Kris may also be planning to use footage from 'Kourtney and Kim Take New York' as evidence of fraud. Well, bet Kim never thought all her TV exposure would come back and bite her in the ass!
