One thing that movie stars really shouldn’t comment on is religion. Yes, comment on films, and clothes and the weather, but religion! We are still surprised at Keira Knightley taliing so flippantly about it over the weekend and she has caused a bit of trouble. She talked about how she wished she was religious just so she could ask for forgiveness and wrong doings and not feel guilty. She said: “It sounds much better than having to live with guilt. It’s absolutely extraordinary. If only I wasn’t an atheist, I could get away with anything. You’d just ask for forgiveness and then you’d be forgiven.” It’s all probably not quite as simple as that keira, but we’re saying nothing. She’s been getting enough grief from religious typed over it all. One thing Keira isn’t taking so seriously are her acting roles. She has just signed up for a comedy, which is very different to her recent work. The last film she did was A Dangerous Method and she played a mental patient, starring alongside Michael Fassbender. Now, she will be starring alongside Steve Carell. The film is a funny one and called Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World. Keira said: “I love Steve Carell; he is one of the most loveliest men on earth. It was my attempt, given that my work seems to be going from dark, to dark, to darker, to do something a little bit light. And then my friend said, 'What's it about?' And I said, 'The end of the world.' So I've managed to go a tiny bit lighter, but it is about the end of everything." Well as long as there’s a few jokes in there Keira, we’re sure it will be alright!
