Bieber and Big Sean are friends and have also recently worked together on a song for Bieber’s latest album Believe – the song is As Long As You Love Me. Bieber is said to be touched by the gift. Big Sean described Bieber as “a true G” and commenting on how massively famous Bieber is, Big Sean said: “it’s nice to see you can be that big and not be affected by it.” Bieber’s manager also confirmed the gift and explained a little bit more as to why it came about. He said: "When they first met, Sean has this ring. It was his first ring he ever bought, the first piece of jewelry when he got his record deal. He gave it to Justin at the Today Show. Big Sean said, 'I know you said you liked it, and I want to say thank you for involving me in the process and being a part of this. And I want you to have the ring.'
