It was only a matter of time before Jessica Simpson somehow cashed in on her pregnancy and being a new mum. Only 2 weeks after her baby was born she has announced her new plans. She is to launch a maternity line called Jessica Simpson Maternity – well, not the most creative, but hey, it explains exactly what it is! The official word says that the new line is for a "modern mum-to-be who wants to maintain her fashion edge throughout her pregnancy". We hear it will be made up of things like maxi dresses, printed tops, knits, sweaters, blazers, jackets and denims. Jessica famously put on a lot of weight during her pregnancy – so much so that she had to deny that she wasn’t having twins. So we guess she is actually one person who knows how women feel during those 9 months. Her clothes will be out in the shops in America pretty soon too – they are planning on them being available this autumn. Jessica Simpson has also been gushing recently about being a mum. She gave birth to a little girl called Maxwell on May 1st – yes, let’s not mention the whole baby girl with a boy’s name again! Jessica has said: "Motherhood is by far the best thing I've ever experienced. She is insanely beautiful I can't help but play dress up!" Yes, she really is using her little baby as a doll. She said: "I'm addicted to buying headbands with massive flowers for Maxwell” Well at least she did have a little girl – headbands probably wouldn’t look so good on a boy. We hear that Jessica’s friends have be saying that they baby is wearing a different outfit practically every second! We can see it already, first the Jessica Simpson maternity range, then the Jessica Simpson baby range!
