We can’t decide if Jennifer Lopez is threatening to leave American Idol just for some attention so everyone says ‘oh no, don’t go Jennifer, we love you’ and then she’ll stay. If that isn’t the reason, then she is being very honest. About signing on again to sit on the judging panel for a third year, she said: The truth is ... I've enjoyed it so much, but I am thinking it's maybe time for me to go and do other things I really love to do like films ... and performing. This has been a great journey, but then again I love the show so... all I can tell you is what I'm thinking." Has JLO thought that the producers of the show might not want her back – that wouldn’t leave her such a choice would it? She apparently is going to let everyone know her decision when her current tour with Enrique Iglesias ends. JLo does have twins to look after and an ex husband to deal with – and also a young hot dancer to deal with too – so maybe it’s just all a bit much. Some people are suggesting though that the real reason JLO hasn’t rushed to sign is the money. Some say that even though she makes a huge $12m a season, rival show judge Britney Spears has been getting $15m for X Factor, and JLO isn’t happy about it! It’s a shame as Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and JLO all worked well together as judges on the show, but there is talk that both JLO and Steven Tyler could be leaving. American Idol’s executive producer has already said he would love to sign Charlie Sheen, and another talked about signing could be Adam Lambert. A source said: "They have been talking about Adam for over a month. He personifies the show, and will be a popular choice right from the start. He knows what it's like to be on the receiving end of the judges' comments.”
