Well, believe it or not, it seems that not everything that Emma Watson touches turns to Gold. Her latest fashion venture had been a bit of a flop. She had a dream that she wanted to head up an eco-friendly clothing line and had already started designing some items for other companies which went along this way of thinking. There is an ethical label called People Tree and Emma had done some designs for them, which they had made and put on sale. The issue is that they have failed to sell. Emma is a big fan of fashion and had not hidden at all how excited she was to be getting involved. However, even when the items were put on cut-price sale, they still didn’t get the customers reaching for their purses. A source said: “Emma was so disappointed. But even at knockdown prices, the clothes were still sitting on the shelves. She’s also stalled on plans to do more with Ferretti because she doesn’t have time.’ Ferretti is an Italian designer who Emma has worked with in the past. We hear now that she really is just going to concentrate on getting her degree from Oxford University. And a few filming projects too. At only 21, she has achieved massive amounts. We’re hoping that a few items of clothes not selling will not leave her feeling too down. She only has to look at the global success of Harry Potter and surely that will lift her spirits. Emma has been spending some time in LA recently filming for the new movie The Bling Ring. It is based on a true story and is about a group of teenagers who target homes of various celebrities. Emma has been playing around on set and was even spotted playing hide and seek one day. How brilliantly un-showbiz!
