DAVID Hasselhoff will star in this year's Theatre Royal pantomime, Peter Pan, as ultimate baddie Captain Hook. The Hoff, best known for his iconic roles as Michael Knight in Knight Rider and Mitch Buchanan in Baywatch says he’s thrilled to be heading to Nottingham. "I love performing in pantomime. It’s a fabulous British tradition and a great excuse to get the whole family together and enjoy a wonderful and entertaining time at the theatre. "I can’t wait to spend Christmas with the people of Nottingham but watch out - Hoff the Hook is coming to get you. You're gonna love me....oh yes, you are!" Jonathan Saville, Director of Sales, Marketing and Development at the Theatre Royal Nottingham, is delighted with this year’s line-up of stars. He says: “We are thrilled to confirm that David Hasselhoff will be playing Captain Hook in this year’s Theatre Royal pantomime, Peter Pan. We’ve pulled out all the stops with our star cast this year: international superstar The Hoff will appear alongside the nation’s favourite children’s TV presenter, Barney Harwood, and Nottingham’s very own comedy institution, Su Pollard. This is a very special cast indeed. Peter Pan will be the biggest and best pantomime in the region this Christmas, and I’m sure that we will see our box office breaking records once again this year.”
