Charlize Theron had a crush on Tom Hanks. The 'Mad Max: Fury Road' star was sweetly infatuated with the actor during her formative years and often imagined herself as one of his glamorous female co-stars such as Meg Ryan, with whom he starred in a string of hit movies including 1993's 'Sleepless in Seattle' and 1998's 'You've Got Mail'. She said: "I grew up watching the movies of Tom Hanks. He was like a 'boyfriend'. When I was eight, I would walk around like I was one of the girls in a Tom Hanks movie. So I have a restraining order from his wife!" Charlize attended the Academy Awards last month and though she refused to mention her crush to when she bumped into Tom and his spouse Rita Wilson, she was delighted to present the award for Best Original Screenplay with her 'The Hunstman: Winter's War' co-star Emily Blunt. Charlize's five-year-old Jackson watched the Oscars ceremony and was confused when she didn't win a golden statuette, but was pleased when his mother showed him the award she won for her performance in 'Monster'. During an appearance on Italian chat show 'Che Tempo Che Fa', Charlize - who also has baby daughter August - said: "I just went to the Oscars this year to present an award with Emily Blunt. My son now has started to understand things better. And he watched the Oscars on TV. He noticed that everybody won an Oscar, so when I came back home, he was like, 'Mum, you didn't win anything!' So I literally told him, 'Come with me'. I took him in the living room and I told him, 'Look at it, you see that? Your mom won."
