Britney Spears could be getting full control back of her life – literally. We’d sort of forgotten about the fact that her dad still controls all her money. It seemed to happen such a long time ago that we’d forgotten that conservatorship was in place. But it may not be for much longer. We’re guessing it must have been one of the most humiliating things to happen to Britney during her bad times, but yes, her dad went to court to take control of Britney’s affairs as he believed she was not mentally fit to be in charge herself, and the court agreed. That was back in 2008 and for the last 4 years Britney’s dad has been saying what she does with her money. The conservatorship was extended a few times too as Britney still wasn’t in the right state to take over again. She has been slowly but surely getting better and dealing with her issues, and now, it seems that Britney’s dad is more than happy to hand the reins back over. He now feels that she is ready to control her own finances and wants a judge to end the arrangement before she marries her fiancé Jason Trawick. A source said: "Jamie wants to go to court in early February so Britney will be a free woman in every sense when she marries," And as for Britney’s wedding. The rumour is that she is planning a Valentine's Day wedding - some would say corny, some would say romantic. After getting officially engaged just before Christmas, Britney and her ex manager Jason have hinted to the fact that they don’t want to hang around as an engaged couple for long, but want to get married. So we have Valentines as the possible date, and as for the venue... the Hawaiian island of Maui. Nice!
