Breaking news... Ben Affleck has joined facebook! But unlike most of us who are on the social networking site to share drunken photos or find out gossip on our friends, Ben Affleck has actually joined for charity reasons. He has signed up in an effort to campaign to help the Democratic Republic of Congo. He wants to raise awareness of the troubles in the country and also try and raise some money too. Ben Affleck is a good egg. He is the head of the Eastern Congo Initiative, which he created in 2010 to help women and children affected by sexual violence and rape. And he hasn’t just got himself that fancy title to make himself look good. He really is a charity do-er. He has made 8 trips to the African Country and has joined facebook so he can write about his work. In fact, one of his updates on there said: “Looking forward to bringing some awareness to what's happening in the Congo today, and sharing stories of the extraordinary people I've met along the way." So, Ben Affleck is loaded, hot, a great dad, and a very caring charity man – a bit too good to be true. That is what his wife Jennifer Garner must think most days – unless he’s really annoying to live with, despite all his good points, we’d love it if he left his wet towels on the floor. He and Jennifer garner have 2 girls together and they have one on the way. Jennifer has said that their 2 daughters have been thinking up names for the new baby and said: "Our girls are working on names. At first they were definitely Disney. It was like, Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse Affleck. And then they've moved on. Then it was Peter Pan, Captain Hook, and Smee," Go on Ben and Jen – we dare you to use one of those names!
