It was like going back in time 10 years when we saw the cast of American Pie in London. They are all together doing promotional work for the latest film, which is out in May. Jason Biggs is back playing Jim, Sean William Scott is back playing Stifler, Tara Reid back as Vicky, Mena Suvari back as Heather, Jennifer Coolidge back as Stifler’s mum – basically all the old characters are back for what they are calling the final in the American Pie film series. There were 3 films back in the day which were big at the cinema and had all the main characters in. There were then a few sequels made, which went straight to DVD and didn’t have the same actors in, but now the originals are back for one last time. There was the original American Pie in 1999, followed by America Pie 2 in 2001, and then American Pie The Wedding in 2003. Now, 9 years after the last film was made, there is American Pie The Reunion. The cast were all out and about in London and happy to pose with fans. There was one scene at one point of all the cast, that reminded us of the start of a joke. How many members of the American Pie cast can you fit on the top of a bus? They have all been doing a bit of sight-seeing whilst in London and they are clearly all very happy to have the opportunity to see each other again. Jason Biggs talked about the new Film The Reunion and said: ''The wonderful thing about this cast is we can go years without seeing each other and then we get back together and we have this short-hand with each other. We have this shared connection that is the 'American Pie' franchise and its success and it defines us all in a great way, in a very profound way, and it's very special to all of us. 'We share that with each other and it's a great thing and when we come back we all have wonderful chemistry and get along as if we had stayed in touch every single day.'' Ah! The film is out in May.
