After 11 weeks of competitions, evictions, twists and turns, Nick and Philippe Paquette have become the first ever siblings in the history of the Big Brother franchise to win the grand prize, taking home victory from Big Brother Canada season 4.
Winning by a Jury vote of 7-2 against Kelsey, Nick said: "This is the best day of my life, I couldn't ask for anyone better to share it with."
Phil added: "When I saw my brother walk into the house, I knew that [I had to] change up any game plan that I had. But after getting to the halfway point, having him was a huge benefit because he's so good at just talking to people and being charismatic and being himself, being genuine. And having that in addition to maybe some strategy on my part was just a deadly combination."
The final three-part Head of Household competition saw Phil take the win for the brothers in a physical challenge, whilst Kelsey and Tim then battled it out in a trivia round.
Frustrated at the quiz, Tim gave up and handed Kelsey the victory.
Upon his eviction, Tim said: "I don't think I quit. It was that moment where I just went, 'you could do this, but do you actually want to?'"
"It seems so crazy to everyone else out there but that's what goes on in my crazy head. I came here for an adventure and I got that. And I remembered that feeling when I won back in Australia and I thought, 'I can't rob that of these guys'.
"Tonight was really emotional for me because I just was like, 'one of these guys is going to have their dream come true' - I've already had that in my life."
Following Tim's eviction, Kelsey and the brothers battled it out in front of the Jury, answering some tough questions about their time in the house. Both stumbling on answers, passionate final speeches were made and the Jury made their decision.
Whilst Kelsey's close friends Raul and Jared voted for her to win, everybody else voted for Nick and Phil.
Big Brother Canada Season 4 winners Nick and Phil won a grand prize of $100,000, a $25,000 gift card from The Brick, and an OxiClean™ prize pack valued at $10,000 that includes $500 of fabric care products and a $9,500 wardrobe makeover.
