Shaun Wallace was outsmarted by a child during 'The Chasers Road Trip: Trains, Brains and Automobiles'.
The 60-year-old barrister is famed for the intellect he shows on 'The Chase', but Shaun wasn't bothered at being outshone by a child prodigy during the new series.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: "I started enjoying the experience and wasn't embarrassed in any way, shape or form. For me, it was about exploring intelligence and not about me being embarrassed."
The new series - which will also feature the likes of Anne Hegerty and Mark Labbett - will see the group travel to places like the US and Japan, and Shaun has admitted to being surprised by some of the things he encountered on his travels.
Speaking about the experience of making the show, Shaun shared: "What surprised me was how intelligent animals can be, especially if you prepare them and train them.
"As I was saying, when we looked at new intelligence found in chimpanzees and primates in general, I was surprised that they are only just a step down from us.
"If animals could communicate in a way that we could understand, it could be up there, I'm telling you."
Meanwhile, Anne has insisted she won't leave 'The Chase' unless she's fired or the show gets cancelled.
The TV star admitted to feeling comfortable on the 'Chase' studio floor.
She recently said: "In a sense, it’s an easy job. I’m autistic, so I find things like getting showered, dressed and making my way to the studio quite difficult and stressful.
"But the place where I know absolutely what I’m doing is on the studio floor. I’ll often find myself thinking, ‘Why can’t the rest of life be like this?'"
