Mike Boateng became the first Islander to make use of The Dog House on 'Love Island' - but didn't spend the night alone.
The 24-year-old police officer decided to relegate himself to The Dog House - which is a fold down bed outside of the bedroom - during Wednesday's (15.01.20) episode of the ITV2 reality show, as he didn't want to sleep in the same bed as Jess Gale, whom he is currently coupled up with.
Mike is coupled up with Jess after the 20-year-old beauty stole him away from Leanne Amaning earlier this week, but the hunk has since admitted he would much rather pursue a romance with Leanne.
And although he decided to sleep outside of the bedroom, he wasn't alone for long, as Leanne - who has been single since Mike coupled up with Jess - also snuck out of bed to join him in The Dog House, which is only intended for one Islander at a time.
She told him: "I couldn't leave you here by yourself."
During the show, Mike also came clean to Jess about his feelings for Leanne, and the blonde beauty admitted she wouldn't have chosen to couple up with him if she knew he felt so strongly about someone else.
She said: "I was shocked at this strong preference for Leanne. If I knew this preference was so strong, I don't think I would have picked you."
And Mike told her: "I kind of just weighed it up and I looked at Leanne, it was like a feeling which I don't get too often. It was a feeling that I couldn't ignore."
Elsewhere in the episode, Ollie Williams explained to his fellow Islanders that he would be leaving the villa, after realising he still has feelings for a former girlfriend outside of the show.
Ollie's departure means Paige Turley is now also single, but the 22-year-old singer received a text at the end of the episode, which revealed two new hunks are set to join them very soon.
'Love Island' airs every night at 9pm.
