Olivia Hawkins burst into tears after finding out that Tom Clare had secretly kissed Ellie Spence on 'Love Island.'
The 27-year-old ring girl had been coupled up with footballer Tom, 23, on the hit ITV2 reality dating show but after being told by co-stars Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown and Tanya Manhenga that he shared a smooch with bombshell Ellie, 25, accused him of "playing a smart game" in the South African villa on Tuesday's (31.01.23) episode.
She said: "Tom? Do you have anything you wanna say? Nothing you wanna tell me? About the terrace? No kiss? Didn't fancy telling me about that? I think you're playing a smart game. You're playing with my feelings. It all makes so much sense to me."
When Tom protested that it was "only a kiss" and insisted that Ellie had "come onto him", Olivia retorted that he cannot "have his cake and eat it" and accused him of "forgetting" about her feelings before she rushed off the set in tears.
She said: "Only a kiss? Wow! The fact that you've come to me and said you want to explore it again, you can't have your cake and eat it! Honestly, you're playing me. I'm putting myself out there. Why didn't you tell me you'd kissed her? Why am I gonna want to get to know someone who is kissing everyone? You've mugged me off again. If this is you being straight up with me, then I don't want to know about it. I don't know what you're in here for but you're forgetting about people's feelings."
When Tom was grilled by co-star Shaq Muhammad over the situation, he said: "I don't have to run and tell Liv that I've kissed another girl. I don't think a kiss is that deep, it's not like I've s****** anyone! I ain't got any loyalties to anyone!"
At the end of the episode, the Islanders received the news that one of them will be saying goodbye to the show in tomorrow night's episode because of a surprise recoupling which will allow the boysto choose another girl.
The girl not chosen in the recoupling will be dumped from the island immediately.
'Love Island' continues tomorrow (01.02.23) at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX and can be seen in Ireland on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player.
