‘Love Island’ stars Mollie Salmon and George Tasker have become step-siblings.
The pair - who entered the latest series of the ITV2 dating show during the Casa Amor segment - have become a part of each other’s families after his mum married Mollie's dad.
After posting a photo of his mother wearing a wedding dress and a flower crown before the St Ives ceremony last month, the 23-year-old labourer clarified the details of the reality television union, while responding to fan questions about who the couple in the photo with him and the 23-year-old makeup artist were.
George told his followers: "So basically, absolute madness, my mum has married Mollie's dad.
"So now we are stepbrother and stepsister, which is mad."
He revealed their parents met on the ITV2 dating show's reunion just a month ago, and they “got engaged” after falling head over heels for each other.
He said: "They met at the reunion about a month ago and since then got engaged and got married."
While the stars were appearing on the show together, they both got the chance to rip up the relationship between the eventual winners Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti, who took home the £50,000 grand prize after winning the public vote.
Last week, the 28-year-old actress detailed how much she “trusted” the 27-year-old entrepreneur despite how busy they have been since cinching victory.
Ekin-Su said: “Do you know what, we’re both just so proud of each other and really enjoying the time we can spend together.
“I trust him, he’s my man, and we’re adapting really well to life outside of the villa. When we’re not together we’re talking all the time anyway!”
