Lana Jenkins doesn't want to be part of a love triangle on 'Love Island.'
The 25-year-old makeup artist is currently taking part in the hit ITV reality dating show and was initially coupled up with financial advisor Ron Hall, 25, but he had had his head turned by bombshell arrival Ellie Spence and even though he admitted he wanted to "give her a chance" to "confirm" if there was anything serious between them, Lana quashed the suggestion immediately and refused to be part of it because she does not want to be "second best."
On Friday's (27.01.23) episode, he told her: 'I said to Ellie, I'm going to give you the respect and not bin you off. I'm still going to talk to her and whatever and just, I know how I feel with you.
'I know I've said it but I really like you. If I come back to you after this, then I know that everything I'm feeling right now is dead serious."
Lana replied: "I'm taking a step back now, seriously. I don't want to be part of it, so that's that. I'm not doing this kissing and affectionate thing when you are cracking on with someone else, so don't expect me too. I'm not getting involved in a trio thing, I'm not second best, I'm best."
Following the interaction with Lana, Ron admitted he had "f******" his chances with her while speaking to the boys while Lana explained to the girls that she is "glad" she stood up for herself.
She said: "I get too kind and then they just walk all over me, do you know what I mean? I'm glad I said it and stood up for myself, I'm never going to be the second option."
‘Love Island’ continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX and can be seenin Ireland on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player.
