The 'Masked Singer UK' host and his wife - who got married in 2019 - announced Hannah's pregnancy with some sweet polaroid pictures of the couple and her baby bump in a message shared on both their Instagram accounts.

Hannah cheekily captioned the post: "Does anyone know how to change a nappy? Because Joel has s*** himself."

Fans and fellow stars have been quick to offer their congratulations to the parents-to-be, and it seems Fearne Cotton had seen the potential signs before the big announcement.

She commented: "I thought you had a twinkle in your eye the other night! Im so happy for you both (sic)"

Former 'Love Island' host Laura Whitmore - whose husband Iain Stirling officiated the couple's wedding - added: "Fun times ahead!! So happy for ye! (sic)"

Radio 2 DJ Zoe Ball wrote: "The greatest news for yous. ahhh best job ever too BIG LOVE. (sic)"

And singer Olly Murs said: "Oh wow huge congrats joel and Hannah x".

Joel previously admitted he thought about trying to reschedule their wedding when he got approached to host 'The Masked Singer', but Hannah was having none of it.

He told ITV's 'Lorraine' shortly after the ceremony: "They said '[ITV] want you to do The Masked Singer, although these are the dates'.

"I said to my wife, 'I think I've just been given a really big opportunity, biggest of my life, but it's the day of the wedding.' "

While Hannah wouldn't make the change, ITV did manage "to slide The Masked singer back a little bit".

Meanwhile, Joel recently chopped a bit of his thumbnail off while he was preparing some chives for a romantic dinner for him and Hannah, but he couldn't find the nail and let fate take its course as to which of the them ended up eating it.

He told the Metro newspaper's Guilty Pleasures column: “‘I was like, ‘OK, it’s in the cooker now and there’s a 50 per cent chance it’s going to be eaten by me, and 50 per cent it’s going to be eaten by her.

“We ate, and I was watching her the whole time. She got the nail and said, 'What’s that?!' I was like, ‘Oh no, I’m so sorry!' "
