Olivia and Alex Bowen have “some really exciting announcements” in the pipeline.
The couple - who met on the 2016 edition of ‘Love Island’ - have been “busy with a number of work projects” in the run up to welcoming their first child but have to keep mum about most of them.
The 28-year-old mother-to-be told The Daily Star Sunday: “We’re fortunate enough to be busy with a number of work projects and have launched some gorgeous new items for our clothing brand, Exempt Society. I’m still loving managing our home Instagram account, The Bowens Home, too. We’ve also got some really exciting announcements coming up - but we can’t say what they are yet, so watch this space…”
The pair - who tied the knot in 2018 - admit they “can’t predict” if they are going to have a huge brood or not.
The 30-year-old father-to-be said: “We’ve always said we wanted two, but you never know. We might have two and then want more. You can’t just predict.”
Olivia added: “We might be born to be parents and absolutely love it and want 10 kids.”
The’ Olivia Alex: Happily Ever After’ stars have opted to keep the their new additions gender “a big surprise” after consulting people who’ve been there before, despite being “impatient people”.
Alex said: “With everyone we spoke to about this, the ones that didn’t find out their baby’s gender until the day said it was the best decision ever. And the ones that found out early wish they’d waited. So we wanted to keep it all a big surprise.
Olivia said: “We’re quite impatient people, so I didn’t think we’d be able to wait. But we’ve managed.”
The loved-up pair have narrowed their search to “traditional names” but are not in agreement yet if its a little girl.
Olivia said: “We like traditional names. We’re are really struggling to agree on a girl. I like Audrey and Aubrey.”
Olivia also lamented on how “shocked” she was to be getting “excited” for motherhood.
She said: “I am shocked by how excited I am. I never envisioned myself as a mum, even saying the word ‘mum’ sounds so weird. But I’ve found myself enthralled by buggies and baby grows.”
