Donna Air's new blades are being broken in by a professional skater.
The 38-year-old star was forced to buy some new skates earlier this week after the ones she's been training in for the past three months for 'Dancing on Ice' were stolen from the boot of her car on Monday (08.01.18) - five days before she makes her debut.
But her feet shouldn't be in too bad condition as bosses have asked another girl from the professional team to wear the boots in so that they don't give Donna blisters.
Speaking at the launch of Cirque du Soleil's Ovo at the Royal Albert Hall, Matt Evers - who is partnered with Great British Bake Off's Candice Brown for the skating show - told BANG Showbiz: "Monetarily wise the skates are not that expensive in the grand scheme of thing but it's the investment the celebrities have put into their particular pair of skates and now they've gone missing.
"To be totally honest Donna is a great skater and she's very comfortable on the ice and what they've done now is get one of the pro girls to break in the boots for her so she should be OK, but you just don't know when it comes to Sunday. It's 'Dancing On Ice'!"
Donna enlisted the help of the police at the beginning of the week when she found out that someone had broken into her vehicle and taken her skate bag - with her blades inside - while she was at the gym and she even offered a reward for their return.
She tweeted: "@metpoliceuk reward for anyone who FINDS my skates . I'm sure the thief would have dumped them somewhere as of no use to anyone but me ! moulded to my feet and impossible to replace for Sunday (sic)"
Donna will take to the ice for the first time this Sunday (14.01.18).
