The hair of Britain's Duchess of Cambridge is a "nightmare".
Speaking with young people at his homeless charity Centrepoint, Prince William - who married the Duchess in 2011 - joked with one trainee hairdresser that she should try doing his wife's hair.
On a more serious note, Seyi Obakin, Centrepoint's chief executive, said the visit of the 32-year-old prince had lifted the spirits of the young people.
The CEO explained: "The Duke of Cambridge's visit provided a huge boost for all the young people he met ahead of Christmas, which for them can be a difficult and emotional time.
"Fortunately for many vulnerable young people staying with us in London, Sunderland and Bradford, while they won't have their families around them, they will have Centrepoint.
"We estimate that 15,000 young people will face homelessness alone this Christmas."
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the palace explained: "The Duke paid an unofficial visit to Centrepoint in order to meet some of the young people and show support for the charity at what is a key time of year for them."
During his visit, Prince William joined in a healthy breakfast session where young people learned about the value of nutritional food.
