Chasing Grace
Emerging from Hertfordshire, Chasing Grace are a duo comprised of singer-songwriter Phil Plested, 20, and 18 year old Grace Ackerman.
The pair went to the same school, and through a collaboration on a mutual friend’s project, they found common ground in their idolising of artists such as Damien Rice, Ben Howard, and the eternal Jeff Buckley.
Building from this, they embarked on their own creative journey - combining efforts in song writing and cultivating a sound to harness their shared perspective, mixing a love of folk with urban influences.
The band are currently hard at work in the studio, where they have been recording their debut album with multi-talented producer Naughty Boy (Emeli Sande, Professor Green, Wiley).
‘Trust’ is taken from their forthcoming EP ‘Dinner Will Be Served’, released in June, and the band support Sam Smith in May.
