After sparring with One Direction fans and Louis Tomlinson on Twitter, Naughty Boy has now responded to Noel Gallagher who mocked Zayn Malik for giving up the boyband life in a recent interview with Rolling Stone.
Speaking to the magazine, Noel was quoted as saying: "Hang on a minute. You can be f**king anything that moves and gettin' paid half a million dollars a week, you f**king idiot.
"You want to be a normal 22-year-old? Have you met any normal 22-year-olds? They're f**king s**t-for-brains.
"I'll say this to you, Zayn - you might have wanted to be a normal 22-year-old, but you won't want to be a normal 25-year-old."
In response, Naughty Boy has claimed that Noel would go back on his word and reunite with his brother Liam Gallagher to reform Oasis for financial reasons.
Noel's made no secret of the financial reasons behind some of his musical history in the past. Chatting about rumours Oasis were paid £2.5 million to play Reading and Leeds Festival back in 2000, he explained: "I was on a show and I said it would take two-and-a-half million reasons to do a festival."
And earlier this year, he said that if he was ever to reform Oasis it would "only be for the money."
"This isn't me putting it out there, by the way. Would I do it for charity? No way. We're not that kind of people."
He added: "Would we get back together one day? As long as everybody is still alive and still has their hair, it's always a possibility. But only for the money."
