Madonna has finally proven that fame can buy you anything, after getting the go-ahead to adopt four-year-old Mercy James.
Despite the fact that relatives of Mercy James put up a fight to keep the child in her home, it seems Madonna’s millions have won over the Malawi Supreme Court and a positive ruling to be announced next Sunday should see the singer given permission to adopt four-year-old Mercy James.
Apparently, two out of the three court judges have submitted reports recommending the adoption, while the third is said be "in complete unison with them," and a source told The Sun: "The paperwork is being typed up now, all recommendations are in favour of the adoption taking place. Mercy should start packing her bags. She's off to America."
Erm, hello, is it just me or would a four year old have no idea what to pack in her bags when she’s being hauled off to a completely new country to live a celebrities life? I’m not sure she has piles of Jimmy Choo’s and Louis Vuitton bags in her closet.
