Kylie Minogue: 'Beating Cancer Made Me Want Kids' Pop superstar Kylie Minogue has vowed to have children after successfully recovering from breast cancer.The 39-year-old singer admits she has always been keen to start a family, but her diagnosis with the illness in 2005 forced her to make having kids a priority.She says, "I love children. Always have and always will. But it's only since my cancer that I have given serious thought to having them".But the Spinning Around star denies undergoing fertility treatment to boost her chances of conceiving.She adds, "Contrary to some reports, I am not having all sorts of weird treatments to try and get pregnant. Instead, we will just have to wait and see what doctors say".The Pop star's battle with breast cancer has also changed her attitude towards the pampered celebrity lifestyle.The singer's new documentary White Diamonds charts her comeback following her diagnosis with the disease in 2005, and Minogue insists having her journey to recovery filmed was an emotional and life-changing process.She says, "I've had to confront a lot of issues as any woman who's been through this disease will know. Wearing a beautiful dress and having my hair and make-up done is a pleasure, but I do now feel a bit differently about that now".
And the singer admits the two-hour movie will make viewers cry, "It was an emotional period and its important that comes across, but there's also a lot of laughs so you might wanna pop Nanna's hanky in your pocket".
